Vietnam

Having now been to Vietnam on two separate occasions, I can confidently say I love the country. The food alone is worth the trip, but what I really remember is the natural scenery and the incredible warmth and friendliness of the people I met. Vietnam’s juxtaposition of the dramatic and serene landscapes of places like Ha Long Bay and Sa Pa, with its nonstop action and noise in Hanoi and Saigon, gives the country a unique energy hard to find elsewhere.

These photographs try to capture not just what Vietnam looks like, but what it feels like, the quiet moments between the chaos, the people, and the details that make the country so easy to love.
