Currently living in Bangkok for an internship, I've made it a habit of always taking my camera with me. It seems like every day I stumble upon a quaint alleyway with children running around or catch the sunlight hitting a street vendor in the most illuminating way. Living here, my goal is not only to capture the beauty of the city but to fully immerse myself in it.
On weekends, I'll take the BTS and MRT to the end of their respective lines and just walk around, exploring the parts of Bangkok that exist in complete contrast to Sukhumvit and the central areas where I spend most of my time. While the central districts and the suburban neighborhoods that surround them are equally Bangkok, they can feel like different worlds at times. These photos capture what I've found in the quieter corners of the city, the ordinary moments that make up the city's true character.
